PATNA-------------------------Patna police has applied to the court to bring Sheru Singh, a non-primary accused in the famous Chandan Mishra murder case and lodged in Purulia jail of West Bengal, to Patna. Sheru will be brought to the capital for interrogation after taking a production warrant from Purulia court.

The name of the notorious Sheru Singh has now come to the fore in the murder case of gangster Chandan Mishra, who played Holi of blood in a private hospital of the capital. Patna police has started tightening the noose on mafia Sheru, lodged in Purulia jail of West Bengal. A case has also been registered against the notorious Sheru Singh, lodged in Purulia jail. Sheru, a native of Buxar, has been made a non-primary accused. Now the police has applied to the court to take him on remand from Purulia jail. After getting permission from the court, Patna police will bring Sheru to Patna for interrogation after taking a production warrant from Purulia court of West Bengal.

In fact, a case has been registered against Sheru on the basis of interrogation of shooters Tausif, his cousin, Balwant and Raviranjan arrested in the murder of Chandan Mishra on July 17 at Paras Hospital and scientific evidence found against him in this case.

The shooters had told the police that Tausif alias Badshah, Monu, Balwant, Nilesh and Raviranjan were given Rs 5 lakh each to kill Chandan. The police have also found strong evidence of this. The biggest challenge for the police is to recover the weapons with which Chandan was shot with 28 bullets. First of all, Sheru Singh killed Anil Kumar Singh on 6 September 2009 in his own village Dullhapur, Simri.

On 10 March 2011, he killed former Mukhiya Mohammad Naushad in Buxar Industrial Police Station area. On 11th April, coaching operator Hari Narayan Singh was murdered in the lane situated right opposite the block road under Ara Nawada police station area. After this, on 20th April 2011, Bharat Rai was murdered in Buxar Industrial Police Station area. On 4th May 2011, a jail clerk Haider Ali was killed in Buxar Town Police Station area. On 26th July 2011, Shivji Kharwar was killed in Buxar Industrial Police Station area. On 31st July 2011, Mohd. Nizamuddin was killed in Buxar Town Police Station area. After this, on 21st August 2011, Bhojpur's Chuna businessman Rajendra Kesari was killed in Buxar Town Police Station area.

Sheru, who is currently lodged in Purulia Jail in West Bengal, is actually named Omkar Nath Singh. His father's name is Krishna Singh. His father retired as a sub-inspector from Jharkhand Police. He has a real brother named Pranav Kumar Singh alias Babua Singh. His uncle Deenbandhu Singh is working as a sub-inspector in Bihar Police. Due to his father and uncle being in the police, Sheru's bullying started to appear in the village Jwar.

According to the villagers, Sheru used to be at the forefront of fights while studying in school. With time, his bullying and circle of companionship increased and then, allegedly in a flirtation, he killed Anil Kumar Singh in his own village on 6 September 2009. This is where his criminal life started. Then he never looked back. You can guess how crazy and insane he is from the fact that in the year 2011, he created a furore by killing 8 people within just 6 months. The worst part is that while in Bhagalpur jail, this notorious criminal was accused of attacking his cousin Fighter Singh's brother Happu, with whom he had a previous dispute, in broad daylight. Sheru's real brother, uncle and close brother were named in this case. Thereafter, policeman uncle Deenbandhu Singh and cousin Prabhakar Singh surrendered in the court.
