BUXAR-----------------------------Shashwat Pratap, son of retired teacher Dhirendra Pratap Singh and retired teacher Manjubala, residents of Koirpurwa in the city, has brought glory to the region by achieving remarkable success in the prestigious Engineering Services Examination (ESE) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Shashwat Pratap has been selected in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, securing an All India Rank of 59.

Shashwat Pratap attributed his success to hard work, disciplined study, and the continuous support of his family. He said that to prepare for a tough exam like UPSC, he studied regularly for 8 to 10 hours every day. The UPSC Mains exam was held in August, while the interview took place in October. Currently, Shashwat Pratap is working at Air India in Mumbai, and he continued his preparation for this exam with complete dedication and commitment alongside his job.

He said that the guidance and inspiration of his parents were most important behind this achievement. He also received continuous guidance and encouragement from his elder sisters, Dr. Rashmi Rani and Snigdha, which made this success possible.

Shashwat Pratap's historic success has brought immense joy to the entire family. His grandmothers Leela Singh, Shanti Devi, Vindhyachali Devi, grandfathers Yogendra Pratap Singh, uncles Satish Kumar and Chandrashekhar, elder brothers Prabhat Kumar, Alok Kumar (journalist), Pushpendra Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Dr. Praveen, Dr. Naveen, Rohit Kumar, Nitish Kumar, along with other family members, relatives, and well-wishers, have extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on his success.

Local people described Shashwat Pratap's achievement as an inspiration for the youth, saying that this success proves that any goal can be achieved with hard work, proper guidance, and self-confidence. Shashwat Pratap's achievement has not only made his family proud but also the entire city of Buxar.
