ARA---------------------------Rupalal Singh, the Sarpanch of Sukhrauli Gram Panchayat and a retired teacher under Piro block, has donated his private land for the construction of the building of the upgraded secondary school in Khukhrauli. It is worth noting that the Education Department had requested the Circle Officer of Piro to provide 75 decimal of land for the construction of the school building, but the Circle Officer, in his report, mentioned that no suitable government land was available in Sukhrauli for the school building. Due to the unavailability of land in Sukhrauli, the upgraded secondary school is currently operating in the premises of Khairi Tiwari Dih Middle School as an alternative arrangement. Meanwhile, the people of Sukhrauli village demanded that the upgraded secondary school building be constructed in Sukhrauli itself. Responding to the villagers' demand, Sarpanch Rupalal Singh offered to donate his private land and, after completing all the necessary procedures, registered the land in the name of the Governor for the school building. Local people have appreciated Sarpanch Rupalal Singh's initiative, calling it a testament to his dedication to education. Former Deputy Chief Shivraj Singh, teacher leaders Ajay Kumar Singh, Gorakhnath Singh, Shankar Prasad Singh, Hridayanand Kushwaha, Rajeshwari Kushwaha, Ramashray Singh, Rajdev Shastri, and others honored the Sarpanch and expressed their gratitude for his gesture.
