ARA--------------------------Sapna Kumari (Ara) is working in BSF. And she got selected for the 21st World Police Games. Venue - Birmingham, (Alabama), USA. Date 27 June to 6 July 2025. And she won three medals in target shooting, she won 2 gold, 1 silver medal. Field Archery - Gold Medal. 3D Archery - Gold Medal. Target Archery - Silver Medal. This is a very proud moment for our country and our armies and Bihar Ara and all sports family. We wish her a bright future. Sapna is also an NIS coach.

Sapna is the third among three sisters and one brother. Her elder sister Neetu is also serving the country by joining BSF. Her second sister Nutan has won medals for India twice at the international level in Wushu (martial arts) and is working in Patna Samharanalaya. Her youngest brother Hariom is a teacher. Her father Jitendra Prasad is a tractor mechanic by profession and her mother Kunti Devi is a teacher.

Sapna Kumari's husband Rajan Kumar has been very supportive since the beginning.

Sapna's sister has also won two bronze medals at the international level in Wushu (martial arts). A bronze medal in the World Championship held in Bali, Indonesia. A bronze medal in the Asian Championship held in China.

And at the national level, she has won 13 gold medals, three silver medals and two bronze medals in martial arts till date. She has won 2 bronze medals. Nutan Kumari is also a certified NIS coach. She has been awarded the Chief Minister's Sports Award six times and has also been awarded once as a coach. Also, it is to be informed that Sapna Kumari is coming home for the first time after winning the medal in America. She will arrive in Ara on the 24th at 11:30 am by Magadh Express. Tiranga Yatra will be taken out in happiness by local sports lovers and people. Which will come from Ara Junction via Nawada Police station.
