ARA------------------------------An honor ceremony was held on Wednesday in the Nagar Panchayat office auditorium on the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja. Nagar Panchayat Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav honored female sanitation workers with sarees and male sanitation workers with towels and sweets. Sanitation workers, sweepers, drivers, and office staff were also honored at the event.

Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav stated that sanitation workers and sweepers play a vital role in maintaining the city's cleanliness. The clean environment enjoyed by residents during any festival is due to the hard work and dedication of sanitation workers. He added that sanitation workers who perform well during major festivals like Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath will also be honored.

Ward Councilors Bajrangi Singh, Ranjeet Raj, Govinda Kumar, Sunil Kumar Panda, Rustam Ali, Anwarul Haq, Muna Chaudhary, Ravindra Chaudhary, Dipu Soni, Naushad Alam, Pankaj Kumar, and Mukesh Singh alias Budha Singh were present on the occasion. The Chairman also honored all the councilors. At the end of the program, the councilors also honored Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav.

Ward councilors expressed their gratitude to the Chairman and said that honoring the sanitation workers is a commendable initiative. This will further strengthen the sanitation system. In the coming days, the sanitation workers will bring fame to Jagdishpur throughout Bihar through their hard work.

Many employees and dignitaries, including Nagar Panchayat office's Nazir Gautam Kumar, Rajiv Ranjan Chiku, Manish Kumar, Dheeraj Kumar, Aman Kumar, were also present at the program.
