SANITATION SUPERVISORS ON INDEFINITE STRIKE

BHABHUA-------------------------Sanitation supervisors of all the new panchayats working under Rampur block will go on indefinite strike from Monday with eight point demands. All the sanitation supervisors went to the BDO office on Saturday and gave a memorandum of eight point demands to the BDO. Sanitation supervisors told through the memorandum that apart from the works related to solid and liquid waste management, other departmental works are also done as full time workers. In view of our full time work, in this era of inflation, we have demanded that the department has fixed only nine thousand per month for sanitation supervisors and only five thousand per month for sanitation workers, which is very low and is also much less than the minimum wage fixed by the state government.

Considering the above points sympathetically, please accept at least the minimum wage (fixed by the state government) by implementing full time and contract as part time. The contract should be implemented under the letter number 1353664 dated 08.11.2022 of the Rural Development Department. Under the letter 6 Pt1/Ra dated 15.01.2021 issued by the Panchayati Raj Department, 20 thousand rupees per month should be implemented for the Sanitation Supervisor. The service period should be 60 years. All outstanding honorariums should be paid immediately. The honorarium of the sanitation worker should be implemented at least 10 thousand rupees. In case of death during the duty period, along with the benefit of accidental death, the members of that family should be selected for that post. Otherwise, from September 1, we will be forced to conduct indefinite strike and dharna demonstration programs. Jitendra Tiwari, Ravindra Kumar Gupta, Ruby Kumari, Sarita Kumari, Munilal Ram, Vinod Kumar and Chandeshwar Kumar were present while giving advertisement on the spot.
