PATNA-------------------------The terror of the sand mafia was evident in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Last night, sand mafias attacked a mining department team in the Dulhinbazar police station area of ​​the Paliganj subdivision. While a checkpoint was being conducted against illegal mining, the mafia ran over the CRPF personnel with a Scorpio. One soldier died in the incident, while the other remains in critical condition.

The seriously injured soldier is undergoing treatment at the hospital. According to reports, the mining department team was checking vehicles carrying illegal sand near Kab village. A tractor was stopped. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the tractor was carrying illegal sand. While the CRPF personnel were seizing the tractor and bringing it to the police station, the tractor owner and his associates began assaulting the soldiers.

After the assault, the accused fled in a Scorpio and deliberately crushed the CRPF soldiers while fleeing. Two soldiers were seriously injured in the accident. Upon receiving information, local police arrived at the scene and brought both injured to PMCH. One soldier died during treatment. The deceased soldier has been identified as Dukhharan Paswan.

The tractor was being brought to the police station when a Scorpio rider stopped and began assaulting two soldiers. During the altercation, the Scorpio rider crushed both soldiers. Scorpio seized, all accused absconding: The injured soldier has been identified as Laxman Singh. Following the incident, police seized the Scorpio used in the attack. However, all the accused in the vehicle are absconding. Police are conducting raids to search for them.

Local residents are expressing anger over such incidents. They say that the sand mafia is openly carrying out major crimes. Illegal mining is being carried out without any fear. Attacks on officials and security personnel trying to stop such incidents are increasing.
