VARANASI-------------------------The salary of the priests of Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple will now be tripled, they will get the status of state employees. There is good news for the employees of Kashi Vishwanath temple! According to the new service rules, the priests and employees of the temple will now get the status of state employees, due to which their salary will increase up to three times. The priests who currently get a salary of up to 30 thousand will get a big benefit from this decision. Jagran correspondent, Varanasi. Now the trust has approved the employee service rules in Kashi Vishwanath temple. In the new rules, now the priests and employees of the temple will get the status of state employees and will start receiving it. At the same time, their salary will also increase up to three times. The priests of the temple were currently getting a salary of up to 30 thousand, which will now increase up to three times after approval. Along with this, the priests have got good news after four decades. The temple was acquired by the state government in the year 1983. Since then, there was no significant progress in the service of the priests in the temple and other salary benefits to them. Along with the increase in salary, the priests will also get other benefits.

Apart from this, a Vedic education and training institute will be built on the plot of Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple located in Kakrahi, Mirzapur. The temple has 46 bighas of land there. This proposal was agreed upon in the 108th meeting of the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust Council held in the Commissioner's Auditorium on Thursday.

Along with this, the trust members unanimously approved the proposal to purchase a building for the smooth movement of devotees from Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham to Shakti Peeth Vishalakshi Mata Temple. In this regard, it was decided that the Sankat Haran Hanuman temple located in Benipur, Sarnath will be developed. The cowshed located in the premises will also be modernized.

In view of strengthening the security of the Dham, the control room and cameras will be upgraded and modernized. Along with the smooth darshan system, providing Laddu Prasad and Rudraksh Mala as an alternative, and connecting all the Jyotirlingas in the Sangam Tirtha Water Exchange Scheme was approved.

At the same time, the identity cards of the daily visitors in the temple will be renewed from time to time. This process was closed for a long time. Due to this, the visitors are getting upset. The Dandi Sanyasis will be given Prasad, food and Dakshina daily as before. Apart from this, in the 14th meeting of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Vishisht Kshetra Vikas Parishad and the 64th meeting of the Executive Committee, a proposal was put forward to establish a state-of-the-art digital museum in the Dham. The members unanimously approved it.

To speed up the commercial activities of the Dham, it was decided to revise the rent rates for allocation of vacant sites in the Emporium and operation of the assets of the Dham complex. It was approved to rationalize the honorarium of various categories of employees and to increase the dearness allowance for full-time employees working in the temple as in the previous year. It was decided that the expertise and SOP developed by the council will be made available in the form of consultancy services, which will open new avenues for increasing the income of the council.
