Block Development Officer (BDO) Shatrunjay Kumar Singh has sought clarification from 26 BLOs (Booth Level Officers) on the charge of negligence in the intensive revision program of the voter list. Along with this, their salary has also been stopped till further orders.
BDO Shatrunjay Kumar Singh said that these 26 BLOs have uploaded verified forms of less than 50 voters at their respective polling stations. This shows that they are not taking interest in the voter list intensive revision program being run by the Election Commission of India. This action has been taken in view of this serious negligence.
