Rs. 3.31 LAKH REALIZED AS FINE FROM 107 VEHICLES

ARA-----------------------Now, those who drive vehicles on the roads of Ara city by ignoring traffic rules are in trouble. On Friday, the District Transport Department and Traffic Police jointly launched a campaign against people driving bikes without helmet and driving license. During this, a fine of Rs 3 lakh 31 thousand was collected from 107 vehicles.

As per the instructions of Bhojpur District Magistrate Tanay Sultania, a vehicle checking campaign was jointly conducted by the District Transport Department and Traffic Police Station. This investigation was mainly done regarding compliance with the rules like use of helmet, driving license and fitness of vehicles.

Under the campaign, investigation was done at major places like Ramna Maidan Golambhar, Zero Mile and Dharhara Overbridge of the city. During this, action was taken against 107 vehicles for violating the rules and a fine amount of Rs 3,31,000/- (three lakh thirty one thousand rupees) was collected.
