ROHTAS POLICE ARRESTED A MISCREANT

SASARAM-------------------------The police of Dehri Nagar police station of the district arrested a cunning criminal who cheated people by entering the ATM of a bank and changing the card in the name of help. The police raided the house of the arrested criminal and recovered jewellery bought with the cheated money and 33 ATM cards of various banks, and the clothes worn at the time of committing the crime. The arrested Rupesh Kumar alias Sanjay Kumar has cheated people of Rs 40 lakh so far. Giving information at the Nagar police station on Friday, ASP cum SDPO Atulesh Jha said that on September 3, Prabhavati Kumari, a resident of Katar village of Indrapuri police station area, reached the ATM below the State Bank located on Cinema Road in the Nagar police station area to withdraw Rs 3000. Then an unknown person reached there to assure her of help in withdrawing the money and cleverly changed the ATM card and fled. After some time, a message of withdrawal of Rs 95,095 came from her account. An FIR was lodged in this regard at the Dehri Nagar police station. He told that a team was formed to solve this case. In which SI Vishwajeet Kumar and Anjani Kumari, Santosh Kumar Arun, constable Mukesh Kumar and Gautam Kumar were included. The CCTV photos of the ATMs installed in the district and the incidents of fraud that happened here were examined. He was identified in the investigation. After which 28-year-old interstate fraudster Rupesh Kumar alias Sanjay Kumar, resident of Ward 8 of Nasriganj, was arrested. He told that 33 ATM cards of different banks, a fake Aadhaar card, three gold rings, an earring and shirt, pants and cap worn at the time of crime were recovered from him. ASP told that more than a dozen FIRs have been registered against the arrested fraudster in Dehri, Dalmianagar, Akhorhi Gola, Sasaram Nagar police station, Daudnagar of Aurangabad district and Kamala Nagar Market police station of Delhi. He has also been arrested from Delhi Kamala Nagar Market police station area and has been sent to jail once.
