ROHTAS DM REVIEWED LAND ACQUISITION IN VARIOUS PROJECTS

SASARAM---------------------------A review meeting on land acquisition in various projects under Rohtas district was convened under the chairmanship of District Officer, Rohtas.

In the said meeting, various projects under Rohtas district were reviewed by the District Officer, Rohtas. During the review, the District Land Acquisition Officer, Rohtas informed that a total of Rs 24.09 crore of land acquired in various mauzas under Bharatmala Project (Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Expressway, Package-111), a total of Rs 4.39 crore in NH 120 (Nasriganj-Dawath Bypass), a total of Rs 2.77 crore in NH 119 (Patna-Ara-Sasaram) has been paid to the interested raiyats through the land amount portal. Second notice has been issued to all the interested farmers in the project ROR (proposed rail project between Karwandiya-Sasaram in Grand Cord connecting Ara-Sasaram line). Along with this, the requesting department was directed to issue a letter to remove the technical obstacles coming in the way of compensation payment in package-IV and V under Bharatmala Project. District Land Acquisition Officer, Rohtas and representatives of various projects were present in the meeting.
