The video of the incident was made by the people present on the spot, which quickly went viral on social media. After the incident, Goldie Kumari lodged an FIR of robbery at Darigaon police station, on the basis of which the police took immediate action and arrested three accused and sent them to jail.
However, now this matter is surrounded by many questions. On the one hand, after the video went viral, both the officers have come into the limelight, on the other hand doubts are also being raised about the veracity of the FIR lodged. This matter is giving rise to a debate on administrative dignity, personal conduct and impartiality of police action.
