ARA (RNI) The Bihar government tirelessly claims to have built roads in every village and city, but the condition of roads in some villages is worse than stated. In Ghagha village, under Bihiya block in Bhojpur district, approximately one to one and a half kilometers of PWD road has become muddy, causing significant difficulties for commuters. Schoolchildren are facing the most difficulties, as their clothes become dirty in the mud, making their voices heard from both home and school. The road has been in a dilapidated condition for nearly five years. Despite numerous applications, no one has responded. When contacted on this issue, Shahpur Assembly constituency MLA Rahul alias Mantu Tiwari stated that the tender has been awarded and work will begin soon. When the SDM of Jagdishpur subdivision, Sanjeet Kumar, was talked to, he said that we are sending an engineer and action will be taken after an immediate investigation. But the villagers here say that years have passed by telling the MLA and officials like this but now there is no one to listen to us. If the road is not constructed then we will resort to a fierce agitation. The head of this Panchayat, Kamta Yadav, said that the contractor and the officials have together embezzled the money here, where is it going that the PWD road does not fall in Shahpur assembly constituency but falls in Jagdishpur assembly constituency. Now it remains to be seen whether a leader or a big official comes to take care of the road.
