RECITE SHRIMAD BHAGWAT DAILY FOR PEACE IN HOMES: JIYAR SWAMI

ARA------------------------The Chaturmas fast of Shri Lakshmi Prapanna Jiyar Swami Ji Maharaj, the supreme disciple of revered saint Shri Tridandi Swami Ji Maharaj, has started in Parmanand Nagar of Piro block of Bhojpur district. He threw light on the importance of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha and said that salvation is achieved only by listening to Shrimad Bhagwat Katha.

Jiyar Swami Ji Maharaj told in his sermon that Katha is such a medium through which all the troubles of human life are eliminated. He emphasized that true peace is not attained only by wealth, property or material comforts. To attain true peace, one has to take refuge in saints.

He also mentioned that whatever work we do in our life, there is always some deficiency in it. In this context, he narrated the episode of the dialogue between Narad ji and Ved Vyas ji, once Narad ji came to Ved Vyas's ashram and asked the reason for unrest, Ved Vyas ji had composed the Srimad Bhagwat Katha. Jiyar Swami ji Maharaj advised to recite one or two chapters of Srimad Bhagwat daily to maintain peace in homes.

During this Chaturmas fast, devotees from many districts have reached Parmanand Nagar to listen to the story of Jiyar Swami ji Maharaj. Other saints have also come to narrate sermons and stories. Sermons and stories are being organized in two shifts in the evening.

Organising committee president Chhote Lal Tiwari and his associates Prabhashankar Tiwari and Manoj Upadhyay said that proper arrangements for accommodation and food have also been made for the devotees.
