PATNA---------------------------Jakkanpur police arrested two exam mafias. Ajay Kumar Sinha of Bhagwanpur, Ben Dhane, Nalanda and Uday Kumar Jha alias Avinash of Sarairanjan, Samastipur were caught from Madhav International Hotel, Mithapur. Educational certificates of 23 candidates, blank and filled cheques of many banks were recovered from them. Many cheques have 14 lakh to 18 lakh rupees filled in them. Both said- they were taking documents and cheques from the candidates by promising to help them pass the teacher recruitment exam. They also said that they have already collected 2 lakhs each from about 10 candidates in the name of helping them pass the teacher recruitment exam. He also admitted that his gang used to manage the exam centre and help the candidates cheat.

Actually, the police had gone to a hotel to search for a missing girl. Ajay was found in a room. Documents and cheques were found with him. The police brought him to the police station. He told that these documents were given to him by Uday of Samastipur. After this, the police went to Samastipur in search of Uday. Uday came to know that the police was searching for him, so he threw his mobile and laptop in the river and was running away. But, the police located him and arrested him. Uday is also an old exam mafia.

The police has received information about four-five more mafias. The candidates whose educational certificates and cheques have been found will also be questioned. City SP Eastern Parichay Kumar said that both of them cheat in the name of getting people pass in the exam. Investigation is going on.

Ajay is an old exam mafia. In 2015, the police of Gandhi Maidan police station had sent him to jail on the charges of exam fraud. Before that in 2011, he had gone to jail from Parwalpur police station of Nalanda. He was dismissed from the post of high school teacher on the charges of exam fraud. Since 2010, Ajay and Uday have been cheating in the name of competitive exams fraud. During interrogation, both of them accepted that they have helped three candidates pass in TET. Police is searching for five other criminals of this gang. "

Many names have been revealed during the interrogation of both. Both do setting in TRE and TET exams through Bhushan, Bobby and a madam. Police is investigating the claims of both. Both have claimed to have taken 18 lakhs from the three people whom they had helped to pass TET. Both told the police that they take 2-3 lakhs advance from the candidates and keep their educational documents with them. After passing the exam, when the candidate pays the full amount, then the original documents are returned. Police have also recovered the papers of BPSC Engineering, TRE, TET and Engineering exams from both of them.
