PUBLIC SUPPORT TO VOTER RIGHTS YATRA

PATNA---------------------------India Alliance's Voter Rights Yatra started from Sheikhpura to Munger via Lakhisarai. CPI (ML) General Secretary Com. Dipankar Bhattacharya left for Sheikhpura from Patna this morning to join today's Yatra. CPI (ML) MLC and National General Secretary of All India Scheme Workers Federation Shashi Yadav, CPI (ML) Central Committee member Santosh Sahar, Bihar State Co-Secretary of student organization AISA Divyam and Social Media Cell member Prem Raj Anand also left for Sheikhpura with him.

Dipankar Bhattacharya said on this occasion that India Alliance's Voter Rights Yatra has received huge public support so far and it is increasing every day.

He said that the people of Bihar are upset with SIR. The Election Commission is not telling anything about the complaints of the 65 lakh people whose names have been deleted. On the other hand, there is talk of adding names of 2 lakh new people. We want to know who are these people? Are these also fake voters with zero house number?

He said that while on one hand there is a preparation to snatch the voting rights of the people, on the other hand the Modi government is making full preparations to stop the opposition from running the government in the states by bringing a new bill in the Parliament. This new bill is a big attack on the country's democracy and federal structure. He said that this dictatorial step of the Modi government should be strongly opposed.

Along with joining the Voter Rights Yatra, he also appealed to the people of Bihar to get their names included in the voter list again and increase monitoring on fake voter recruitment.

A large number of Asha workers and facilitators, school cooks, sanitation workers participated in Sheikhpura. Everyone is taking a pledge that the one who will listen to us will rule Bihar.
