The increasing incidents of theft in Arrah city of Bihar are creating an atmosphere of concern among the citizens. The latest incident has come to light from the Pakri locality of the Nawada police station area, where jewelry, cash, and other valuable property worth lakhs of rupees were stolen from the house of a retired bank employee.

According to the information, Sushil Kumar, a resident of Pakri locality in the Nawada police station area and a retired bank employee, has filed a written application and registered an FIR at the local police station regarding the matter. In his application, he stated that his house is located right next to the ATM at Pakri Chowk. The theft took place on the night of November 24, 2025, when his family had gone to Assam to attend a family wedding ceremony. Taking advantage of the family's absence, the thieves easily carried out the crime.

The list of stolen items includes Rs 35,000 in cash, four gold chains, three sets of earrings, four gold coins, a gold necklace set, a diamond necklace set, various types of rings, earrings, nose pins, silver utensils, a gold-plated watch, three digital watches, and two Samsung tablets. The total value of these stolen items is said to be in lakhs of rupees, representing the retired bank employee's lifelong savings and precious family heirlooms.

However, the thieves' actions have been captured on the CCTV cameras installed in the house. The police hope to get important clues from the CCTV footage during the investigation. The police have taken the matter seriously, registered an FIR, and started further action.
