PREPARATIONS FOR THE VOTER RIGHTS YATRA

ARA----------------------------The upcoming 30th August 2025 is going to bring a historic and unforgettable moment for Bhojpur district. On this day, former President of All India Congress Committee, heartbeat of the youth, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, voice of the people, ray of hope for the poor, oppressed, farmers, youth, women and deprived society, symbol of struggle against dictatorship, MP Shri Rahul Gandhi is visiting the holy land of Bhojpur for the first time under his “Voter Rights Yatra”.

Bermo MLA, INTUC leader, former minister late Shri Rahul Gandhi has been appointed as the observer for the preparation of this historic journey. The frequent visits of Rajendra Singh's son, popular youth leader Jai Mangal Singh alias Anoop Singh to Arrah have been a source of enthusiasm and inspiration for the Bhojpur Congressmen. Jai Mangal Singh alias Anoop Singh Ji held meetings with Congress workers on his every visit to Arrah, held discussions with the office bearers of different fronts and organizations, and minutely reviewed the preparations for the Matdata Adhikar Yatra. He not only guided the workers, but also motivated them to make Rahul Gandhi's visit a historic and unprecedented success.

Under his leadership and supervision, Bhojpur District Congress Committee, various frontal organizations of Congress, Mahila Congress, Youth Congress, NSUI, Seva Dal and senior Congress leaders are continuously active. In every meeting, Jai Mangal Singh alias Anoop Singh laid special emphasis on the strength of the organization, unity of the workers and the strategy to make Rahul ji's visit historic.

This is the same holy land where the divine abode of Maa Aranya Devi is situated and which gave birth to the immortal freedom fighter Veer Kunwar Singh, India's pride and former Deputy Prime Minister Late. It has the distinction of being the karmabhoomi of many revolutionaries, social workers and public leaders including Babu Jagjivan Ram. This first arrival of Rahul Gandhi on this historic land will infuse new energy for democratic consciousness and Congress ideology. The struggling and proud people of Bhojpur, Congress workers, farmers-labourers, women and youth are eagerly and impatiently waiting to welcome their leader, guide and Rahul Gandhi.
