For example, despite having 4 MLAs, Mukesh Sahni seems to be standing at par with leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav by staking claim on 40 seats. This is the result of his political strategy and ability to strike equations.
On the other hand, even after winning 5 seats, AIMIM leaders keep pleading for just 6 seats and do not even get a chance to meet big leaders. The reason is clear—the vote bank on the basis of which they are doing politics does not respect their self-respect and claim.
Even when AIMIM talks about self-respect, participation or political rights, a large part of the same vote bank starts trolling them. This is the reason why their political status remains limited despite the number of seats.
