SASARAM--------------------------Policeman Mahendra Paswan, 37, died in a collision between an auto-rickshaw and a bike on the Rajpur-Dihri road under the Rajpur police station area of ​​the district. Police have taken the body into custody and sent it to Sasaram for a post-mortem examination. The deceased policeman is said to be a resident of Dev Markandey village under the Karakat police station area. According to information received, the policeman was traveling from his village to Dihri on his bike when an auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction hit his bike near the police station gate, causing the biker to fall to the ground, bleeding profusely. Upon receiving information about the road accident, Station House Officer Shashi Bhushan Kumar arrived at the scene with his team. The policeman, who was lying on the road, was taken to the community health center for treatment, where doctors declared him dead. Station House Officer Shashi Bhushan Kumar stated that the deceased policeman was posted in Aurangabad and was traveling from his village to Dihri when he died in the accident on the Rajpur-Dihri road. Their relatives have been informed of the incident. The auto rickshaw that drove away after the incident is being identified through CCTV footage.
