POLICE RESCUED 6 CHILDREN

BHABHUA-------------------------On Tuesday morning at around 10:30, under a commendable campaign at Sasaram Railway Station, Railway Protection Force (RPF) and 'Bachpan Bachao Andolan' organization took joint action and safely rescued 6 minor children who were victims of human trafficking.

These innocent children were being taken to Ahmedabad by Gandhidham Express, where there was a conspiracy to put them into child labor in steel and wood factories. Fear and darkness about the future was clearly visible on the faces of the children, but due to timely action, their life returned to a new turn.

This successful campaign was led by RPF Inspector Sanjeev Kumar. The children were taken off the train and counseling was done and then they were handed over to the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) so that they could be connected to the process of protection and rehabilitation.

Bachpan Bachao Andolan's Project Coordinator Deshraj Singh and Assistant Project Officer Chanda Gupta also played an important role in this campaign. The team's vigilance and human sensitivity saved these children from a dark future.

All the rescued children are residents of Deoghar and Gaya districts of Jharkhand. This case not only exposes the horrific truth of human trafficking, but also shows that if the responsible agencies remain alert, many innocent lives can be saved.
