ARA---------------------------Koilwar police have arrested an accused who had been absconding for about a year in a murder case. He was arrested from the Kujju police station area of ​​Ramgarh Hazaribagh district in Jharkhand. The arrested accused has been identified as Abhay Kumar alias Chhotu, son of Jay Devnath Goswami, a resident of Padaria Badka Chumma village, Ward No. 11, in the Kujju police station area of ​​Ramgarh Hazaribagh district, Jharkhand. It may be recalled that on January 15 of this year, Ravi Ranjan Kumar, son of Dhananjay Singh alias Lalquila Singh, a resident of Dilawarpur village in the IIT Amhara police station area of ​​Patna district, had come to Koilwar with his friends to celebrate his birthday party. There, he was murdered, and his body was thrown into the Koilwar bridge.

Following the incident, the deceased's brother, Bhargavanandan Kumar alias Amit Kumar, had filed a named FIR against six people, including his friend Abhay Kumar alias Harihar alias Chhotu, who had come to the party with him. The said accused had been absconding ever since.
