POLICE ARRESTED A MISCREANT WITH LIVE CARTRIDGES

BHABHUA----------------------------In connection with the daylight shooting incident that took place on December 3rd in Barhuli Badi Pusauli under Mohania police station area, the police have taken swift action and arrested the main accused. The police also recovered three live cartridges and a mobile phone from the arrested accused. According to the information, on the morning of December 3, 2025, at around 8:30 AM, Gopal Kumar Singh (son of Shashinath Singh), a resident of Bhopatpur, was shot and injured with the intention of killing him. In this regard, an FIR was registered at Mohania police station against four named accused persons based on the statement of the injured Gopal Kumar Singh. Considering the seriousness of the incident, a special raiding team was formed under the direction of the Kaimur SP and led by the Mohania Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO). The police team, acting swiftly on the basis of technical surveillance and human intelligence, apprehended the main accused involved in the incident, Amit Yadav (son of Jai Prakash Yadav, resident of Barhuli, Mohania police station).

The police recovered 3 cartridges from the arrested accused, regarding which a separate FIR has been registered and further action is being taken. The police say that continuous raids are being conducted to arrest the other named accused involved in the incident, and they will also be arrested soon. The criminal history of the arrested accused is also being investigated. Circle Inspector Sunil Kumar Nirjhar, Station House Officer Alok Kumar, and the DIU in-charge and their team were involved in this successful operation.
