POLICE ARRESTED A MISCREANT

SASARAM-----------------------Sub-divisional Police Officer Bikramganj Sanket Kumar held a press conference in his office room. During the press conference, it was told that on August 9, the police station in-charge Karakat received information that three criminals were running away after snatching a person's motorcycle near village Hariharpur under the police station area by threatening with a weapon. Out of which one criminal has been caught by the villagers near Kachwan Canal Bridge. Taking immediate action on the information received in the case, the police reached the said place and took the stolen motorcycle and the arrested person into their custody. Khushnaam Kumar father Hira Singh village Mahadevpur police station Tarari district Bhojpur, who was taken into police custody, told during interrogation that we snatch and steal motorcycles by threatening with weapons. Apart from him, other companions Sumit Kumar age 23 years father Vinod Singh Yadav village Saidpur and Rahul Kumar father Tantu Singh village Mahadevpur police station Tarari district Bhojpur are included. It was told that on 29th August at 7:10 pm, information was received at Tarari police station Bhojpur that criminal Sumit Kumar, age 23 years, father Vinod Singh Yadav, village Saidpur, police station Tarari, district Bhojpur, was caught at Tarari police station. Karakat police station in-charge Bhagirath Kumar took the matter very seriously and reached Tarari police station and took criminal Sumit Kumar into police custody. When criminal Sumit Kumar was questioned, he told that he was roaming near village Hariharpur of Karakat police station area with Khusnam Kumar and Rahul Kumar on the day of Rakshabandhan. At the same time, a person was coming on a bike. He overtook that person and snatched the bike by threatening him with a weapon. The person riding the bike started making noise. Due to which people from nearby areas came. In the process, Khusnam Kumar was caught and Rahul and Sumit Kumar ran away. Mr. Kumar said that in the above case, Sumit Kumar, age 23 years, son of Vinod Singh Yadav, village Saidpur, police station Tarari, district Bhojpur was arrested. He said that several cases are registered against the arrested accused in Karakat, Tarari and Kachhwa police stations. He said that the police is continuously conducting raids to arrest an accused Rahul Kumar in the above case. He will also be arrested very soon. He said that during the arrest, police station in-charge Bhagirath Kumar, police sub-inspector Dayashankar Sah and armed forces were present in the team.
