POLICE ARREST A MISCREANTS WITH A FIREARMS

ARA (RNI) In the Town Police Station area of ​​Ara, the police raided near Majhowa Airport and arrested Suraj Kumar alias Deepu, a wanted criminal in the firing case. A country-made pistol and cartridges have been recovered from him. The accused is a resident of Bind Toli and has been involved in criminal activities earlier as well. The police was looking for him in the case of the previous firing incident.

The police raided near Majhowa Airport in the Town Police Station area of ​​the district and arrested a criminal wanted in the firing case with a country-made pistol and cartridges. A 7.65 mm country-made pistol, a magazine and five cartridges have been recovered from the accused Suraj Kumar alias Deepu, a resident of Bind Toli. He has a criminal history earlier as well.

The police was searching for the accused in the firing incident that took place a fortnight ago. During this, Sadar SDPO-One Rajkumar Sah also interrogated him on Tuesday.

He said that the police had received information that a miscreant was standing in a suspicious condition near Majhowa airport with an illegal weapon. Based on the information, the team led by Inspector Devraj Rai, Sub Inspector Prashant Kumar and Pramod Kumar immediately raided and arrested the wanted person.

During the search, illegal weapons and cartridges were recovered from him. During interrogation, it was found that Suraj Kumar alias Deepu has been involved in many criminal activities in the past as well. Many criminal cases have been registered against him earlier as well.

Inspector Devraj Rai said that on the night of July 13, an incident of firing took place at the house of Jai Prakash Thakur, resident of Bind Toli Mohalla. Regarding this, the house owner's wife Dolly Devi had lodged an FIR against two named persons and an unknown person.

Suraj was identified from CCTV footage. During interrogation, the accused has confessed his crime. In this regard, an FIR has been lodged at the Town Police Station on the statement of Sub Inspector Prashant Kumar.
