PATNA------------------------Prashant Kishore, the architect of Jan Suraj, launched a scathing attack on the NDA at a massive public meeting held in Jale Assembly constituency of Darbhanga district during his Bihar Badlaav Yatra. Taking a tough stance on the issue of Nitish Kumar, BJP leaders, and corruption, he said, "As soon as the Jan Suraj government is formed, the 100 most corrupt politicians and officials will be behind bars."
PK targeted both the BJP and RJD, saying, "The RJD is already synonymous with corruption, but BJP leaders are two steps ahead, they are living a life of luxury." He claimed that no NDA leader has responded to his recent revelations because "the truth is bitter."
Directly attacking the Nitish Kumar government, Prashant Kishore said that the Chief Minister and his ministers are using force to lathi-charge students and candidates while sitting behind a security cordon, but when they go among the public to seek votes during the elections, they will face the public's anger.
Prashant Kishore also did not spare Darbhanga Minister Jivesh Mishra. He said, "The court has declared him a fake drug dealer, now the people of Jale will also take action against him in two months and make him unemployed."
At the public meeting, PK made several major announcements to the people of Bihar: ₹2,000 monthly pension for all people above 60 years of age from December 2025. Free education in private schools for children up to 15 years of age, with the government paying the fees. 5 million youth will get jobs in Bihar at a salary of ₹10,000-12,000.
PK said that this year will be the "last Diwali and Chhath" of Bihar's plight. After Chhath, the youth of Darbhanga and Bihar will not have to migrate for employment. It should be noted that Prashant Kishore's attack is being considered a strategic move. Darbhanga is a political stronghold of Mithila and has consistently provided a strong base for the BJP and NDA. By directly attacking Jivesh Mishra, PK has challenged the BJP's local strength. The trio of pension, education, and employment in his promises clearly indicates that Jan Suraj is attempting to position itself as "an alternative for the poor and the youth." However, the question also arises: where will the resources come from to implement such lofty promises? But from a political perspective, PK's message is clear: "Jan Suraj is not just a fight for power, but is claiming to change the system."
