PATNA POLICE ARRESTED TWO WITH HUGE CACHE OF WEAPONS

PATNA----------------------------Patna police is running an intensive campaign against sand mafia. Wherever the police is putting their hands, a huge cache of weapons is being recovered. In this sequence, the police team under the leadership of City SP (West) Bhanu Pratap conducted a raid and recovered two regular rifles, a revolver and more than 300 cartridges and arrested two people associated with the gang. Raids are being conducted to nab other members of the gang.

SSP Kartikeya K. Sharma received information that the sand mafia of Son foothills area is plotting to carry out some big incident. SSP Kartikeya K. Sharma formed a team under the leadership of City SP (West) Bhanu Pratap, in which many DSPs and police station in-charges were included. The special team formed under the leadership of City SP Bhanu Pratap raided Ghodaatap village of IIT police station area. As soon as the criminals got wind of the police, they tried to escape but the police cordon did not let them work. Police recovered two regular rifles, one revolver and more than 300 cartridges, while two criminals of Ghodaatap have been arrested. Both the criminals have gone to jail in previous criminal incidents.

If the police is to be believed, the criminals arrested with weapons had collected weapons to carry out some big incident. When valid documents related to the recovered weapons were demanded, they were not made available. Police is interrogating who else is involved in the gang. If sources are to be believed, the case of arms smuggling can also be exposed.
