RAJIV NAYAN AGRAWAL
PATNA----------------------------Expressing satisfaction with the better progress made in the district in accordance with the standards set by the state government, all public authorities and officers were directed to ensure the quality disposal of 100% of applications within the stipulated time frame. The District Magistrate directed the officers to ensure the successful implementation of schemes with transparency and accountability, while maintaining sensitivity towards public works. Any laxity, negligence, or irregularity in the disbursement of funds for public welfare schemes to beneficiaries under RTPS will not be tolerated. Any delay in the issuance of ration cards is unacceptable. The amount of penalty imposed under public grievance redressal should be deposited by the concerned public authority within three days, and a warning message should be issued and a fine imposed against public authorities who are habitually absent from hearings. Regarding expired cases under RTPS, the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer or, in revenue-related matters, the concerned Deputy Collector of Land Reforms should impose appropriate penalties against the public authorities and submit a report. A joint Saturday meeting of Circle Officers and Station House Officers should be held regularly and effectively in every circle, and the Sub-Divisional Officer should participate in the meeting in one circle under their jurisdiction every Saturday to monitor the resolution of land disputes. The District Magistrate said that merely disposing of complaints is not enough. Redressal of public grievances is essential, and public satisfaction is mandatory.
