BUXAR--------------------------A major incident has been reported from the Rajpur police station area of ​​the district. Armed criminals opened fire indiscriminately, targeting two people. In this sensational incident, one person died on the spot, while the other was seriously injured and is in critical condition.

Confirming the incident, Sadar DSP Gaurav Pandey said that as soon as the information was received, the police team immediately reached the spot and started investigating the matter. He said that the incident took place on Monday evening near Rasen village in the Rajpur police station area. The exact reasons for the incident will be known only after the investigation. Currently, the police are continuously conducting raids to identify and arrest the criminals.

According to local sources, relatives of Vijay Shankar Chaubey, a resident of Rasen village, had come to his house. On Monday evening, both of them were passing by the cemetery near the village. During this time, criminals who were already lying in wait suddenly attacked and started firing indiscriminately.

In this attack, Vijay Shankar Chaubey was seriously injured, while his relative sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died on the spot. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after the incident. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem and have started a thorough investigation into the entire matter.
