BHABHUA-----------------------------A young man tragically died on the spot after being hit by an unknown vehicle near the Kalhanua turn on the north side of the Kalyanpur Power House on the Kakrait Ghat Road within the police station area. The deceased was identified as Akshay Ram, son of Ramdayal Ram, from Dumri village under the Durgawati police station area. Police officials arrived at the scene and prepared an inquest report and sent the body to Sadar Hospital, Bhabua, for a post-mortem examination. A tragic road accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon near Chhajjupur Pokhara in the police station area on National Highway 19. An unknown vehicle traveling at high speed on the northern lane rammed into a car from behind. The impact was so severe that the rear of the car was severely damaged and two women inside were seriously injured. With the help of local residents, both injured were immediately taken to the Durgawati Primary Health Center, where, after first aid, they were referred for further treatment.

The injured women have been identified as Anushka (30), wife of Abhishek Kumar, and Manju Kumari (65), wife of Sudhir Kumar. Both are residents of Adityapur village in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Following the incident, police seized the crashed car, while the vehicle that struck the victim fled. Police have registered a case and launched a search for the driver and vehicle.
