ONE DAY ANIMAL HEALTH AWARENESS CAMP ORGANIZED

ARA------------------------A one-day animal health awareness camp was organized in Sakaddi West village under Koilwar block of Bhojpur district. The camp was inaugurated by Koilwar Veterinary Officer Vishal Kumar, the Animal Mobile Team, BAIF Bhojpur's AIT Rakesh Ranjan Mishra, and Jeevika representatives by cutting the ribbon and lighting the lamp.

During the camp, veterinarian Vikas Kumar provided important information to livestock farmers regarding the care of animals during the winter season. He explained that it is essential to cover the animals with jute sacks to protect them from the cold. On this occasion, deworming medicine, Chamokin, and mineral mixture were distributed free of cost to the animals. BAIF's AIT Rakesh Ranjan Mishra conducted pregnancy tests on dozens of animals. He also examined cows and buffaloes experiencing reproductive problems, difficulty conceiving on time, and those repeatedly coming into heat, and provided appropriate treatment and solutions. He also advised the livestock farmers to feed their animals mineral mixture regularly. Jeevika representatives and regional coordinator Amit Bhardwaj, community coordinators Jyoti Kumari, Dilip Kumar, Shambhu Sharan Singh, Vikas Kumar, Mithilesh Kumar, Anjali Kumari, and accountant Kushagra Dubey, among others, were present at the camp. The livestock farmers who benefited from the animal health camp expressed their happiness. Women livestock workers and members of Jeevika self-help groups also actively participated in the camp.
