Savita Devi and her three children died after consuming poison in Naya Bhojpur on Tuesday. Savita was Sunil Singh's third wife. Sunil had previously married two more times. After the deaths of both, he took seven vows with Savita at the Mahthin Temple in Bihiya about eight years ago. But on Tuesday, following a domestic dispute, Savita and her children consumed poison and ended their lives.
It's worth noting that Sunil has two daughters, Nisha, 12, and Chinta, 10, from his first wife. After their mother's death, both girls were deprived of their mother's love. Sunil remarried to provide them with the love of a mother, but that wife also passed away due to illness. He then remarried a third time, but Nisha and Chinta were deprived of their mother's affection.
However, according to the family, Sunil's two daughters from his first wife were being raised by his elder brother, Prem Singh, and his wife, Devanti. Despite Savita's presence in the family, they were receiving the love of a stepmother, but they certainly received the love of a mother. The two girls had no complaints against Savita. But perhaps fate had other plans. After Savita's death, they were once again deprived of their mother's love.
Both of them had been distraught since the incident. Clinging to their grandfather Prem Singh's lap, the two girls wept incessantly. The younger girl's condition worsened with anxiety, frequently fainting. Although the people around and the father tried to console them, no one's comforting balm could soothe their wounds. Upon seeing the girls, people were saying, "Perhaps they are not destined for a mother's love and affection."
