ARA----------------------A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Bhojpur District Magistrate Tanay Sultania regarding the problem of waterlogging in Milki Anaith locality under ward number-42 of Ara Municipal Corporation area. During the review, the Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation informed that due to permanent and temporary encroachment on the drain from Jagdev Murti to Bhelai Road via Bazar Samiti, regular cleaning work is not possible, due to which waterlogging situation persists in the area.

In this regard, the District Magistrate directed the Municipal Commissioner to do extensive publicity through miking within the next three days, issue notice to the encroachers and publish the related information in various daily newspapers, so that the process of removing permanent and temporary encroachment can be ensured, along with this, the Sub-Divisional Officer, Ara Sadar was directed to coordinate with the Municipal Commissioner and ensure effective action to remove encroachment.

The District Magistrate directed the Executive Engineer, Road Construction Department and Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation to ensure cleaning, repair and smooth drainage of drainage. Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Sub-Divisional Officer, Ara Sadar, Executive Engineer, Shahabad Road Division, Project Director, Budko and other related officials were present in this meeting
