The Bihar government has amended the half-yearly examination schedule of schools. Now no examination will be conducted on the occasion of Jitiya Vrat on 25 September. There will be a holiday in schools across the state on this day.

PATNA-----------------------The Bihar government has amended the half-yearly examination schedule of schools. Now no examination will be conducted on the occasion of Jitiya Vrat on 25 September. There will be a holiday in schools across the state on this day.
The State Education Department (SCERT) has clarified that the previously scheduled examination has been postponed. The new date-table will be made available to the schools through the education offices of the districts.
It is worth noting that Jitiya Vrat is a day of traditional faith and religious importance in Bihar. On this day, women observe fast for the long life and happiness and prosperity of their sons. A large number of students and teachers participate in this festival. For this reason, the Education Department has taken a special decision and changed the examination schedule.
