PATNA---------------------------When I look back at your political journey, it seems as if the soil of Bihar has shaped you through struggle. Just as the current of the Ganga finds a new path at every turn, you have also created a new direction in Bihar politics at every turn.

The count of your steps cannot be found in any statistics, the account of your plans that you made while awake at night cannot be found in any report. But the truth is that from the village paths to the streets of Patna, people remember you by saying “Kaam Bolta Hai”.

Your politics was not born out of hunger for power, but out of the determination to bring Bihar out of darkness. The flame of electricity, the network of roads, the bells of schools and the smile of daughters sitting on bicycles – all these bear witness to your journey.

Your critics say that you change the path again and again. But perhaps they do not understand that sometimes the paths of history also have to be changed so that the vehicle does not derail. You have lived politics not like a hard stone but like a flowing river—where the destination remains the same even after changing the path.

Your biggest strength has been that you do not turn the crowd into noise. You do not leave the ground of simplicity even after sitting on the seat of power. This is the reason why the common man of Bihar considers you not just the Chief Minister but “his own Nitish Babu”.

Today, when the country's politics is entangled in conflict and hatred, your image emerges as a restrained leader—who neither scares with a loud voice, nor cajoles with empty promises. You walk slowly, but history is a witness that only those who walk slowly go far.

Your journey is not incomplete. You are the path of Bihar politics on which many generations will find their way. Your story is not the restlessness for power, but the story of patience and continuity of change.
