NITISH KUMAR GIVES A GIFT TO JOURNALISTS

PATNA-----------------------Before the announcement of assembly elections in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is giving one gift after another to the people of the state. After waiving 125 units of electricity, 35 percent reservation for women, now the Bihar government has decided to increase the amount of pension scheme for journalists.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar posted an announcement on his social media account X that I am happy to inform that under the Bihar Patrakar Samman Pension Yojana, now the department has been directed to provide pension amount of Rs 15 thousand instead of Rs 6 thousand every month to all eligible journalists. Also, in the event of death of journalists receiving pension under Bihar Patrakar Samman Pension Yojana, their dependent husband / wife has been instructed to be given a pension amount of Rs 10 thousand instead of Rs 3 thousand per month for life. Journalists have an important role in democracy. They are the fourth pillar of democracy and they have an important role in social development. We have been taking care of the facilities of journalists from the beginning so that they can do their journalism impartially and live a respectable life after retirement.
