The month of June is for transfer-posting in Bihar. Nitish government has made a system that every year in the month of June, officers will be transferred at the department level. In this month, the transfer file is settled at the level of the departmental minister. From July to May, the file of transfer of officers is sent to the Chief Minister. However, questions have also been raised about the transfers done at the minister level in the month of June. Every year in the month of June, the controversy increases, the government is embarrassed. After the controversy increased, the transfer order has also been postponed from the level of the Chief Minister. This time it is the election year, so the Nitish government is concerned that there should not be a new controversy in the transfer-posting of officers, the government should not be defamed. Therefore, the General Administration Department has written a letter to the Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary of all the departments.

Additional Chief Secretary of General Administration Department B. Rajender has written a letter to the Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary of all departments today on 27 June. In which it has been said that the previous details of the transfer-posting to be done in the month of June should be made available on 1 July. The Additional Chief Secretary has said in his letter that the Chief Secretary has directed in this regard on 26 June. It is to be said in this regard that guidelines related to transfer-posting in the month of June have been given in the Bihar Executive Rules. In this light, transfer posting is done on a large scale by all the departments in the month of June. In such a situation, a copy of the transfer posting order made in all the departments in June 2025 must be made available to the General Administration Department by July 1, 2025. It should be given top priority.

Let us tell you, Bihar Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena had sent a confidential letter to the General Administration Department in this regard on June 26 itself. In which it has been said that get a copy of the transfer order from all the departments.
