The deceased is Jaiprakash Singh alias Satyendra Singh, 50-year-old son of late Shiv Person Singh, resident of Devghar Moti Tola village of Jagdishpur police station area. He was a farmer by profession. Here, the deceased's brother Om Prakash Singh told Khabaren Aapki that he had first married Seema Devi in ​​1998, he has a son from her. But his wife used to run away to her maternal home regularly. She did not live with him. Due to which, after 17 years, in the year 2015, he married Kiran Devi, a resident of Bari village of Bikramganj police station area of ​​Rohtas district. He lived with his first and second wife.

His first wife's son Vishnu Kumar demanded an equal share in the land. In November last year, Vishnu Kumar, the son of his first wife, sold 7 kattha of land from his grandfather's share. Regarding which, his grandfather had also lodged an FIR against him in the local police station. A panchayat was also held three days ago regarding this. During that time, he was demanding his share of land. Then his father told him that the case is still going on. After the settlement, you will get your share of land. Due to this dispute, he killed his father by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon on Tuesday early morning.
