MULTIPLE CAMPAIGNS ARE RUNNING AT VARIOUS STATIONS

PATNA------------------------Swachhta Pakhwada 2025 is being celebrated. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan 2025 is a special initiative under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan 2025, aimed at spreading awareness about cleanliness and promoting community participation and responsibility. This fortnight is also being celebrated across Indian Railways. Additionally, a special campaign, Campaign 5.0, is being run until 31 October 2025 to promote cleanliness, waste management, and waste disposal in offices, stations, and administrative buildings, and to convert waste into creative items under Waste to Art.

Taking these two campaigns together and taking steps towards realizing the spirit of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, today on 08.10.25, under the Swachh Parivar program, under the Swachhta Pakhwada and Special Campaign 5.0 in Danapur Division, along with intensive cleaning of railway colonies, station waiting halls, rest houses, and work sites, disposal of wet and dry waste was ensured on a large scale. Colony residents were made aware of the use of compost made from household waste. Tree plantation was done to keep the station and colonies pollution-free, and passengers and the general public were informed about the importance of a green environment.

In addition, under Campaign 5.0, mechanized cleaning of trains, pest control, and intensive cleaning of bio-toilet tanks were carried out in all depots of Danapur Division. Amrit Samvad was organized at several stations to provide information regarding railway facilities to passengers and note the suggestions given by passengers.

The main objective of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is to adopt cleanliness as a lifestyle and make India clean, healthy and prosperous.
