ARA---------------------------Ara MP Sudama Prasad, while speeding up the development works, laid the foundation stone for the renovation of two platforms and JP Memorial and Open Air Stage at Collectorate Lake, the heart of Arrah, from the MP fund.
The condition of two platforms and JP Memorial and Open Air Stage at Collectorate Lake, the heart of Arrah, had become very dilapidated. Regarding which, cultural workers, theatre artists, people of Nagarik Manch and social workers were continuously demanding renovation.
On this occasion, MP Sudama Prasad, while speaking on the question of development by journalists, said that there is a double engine government in Bihar and a triple engine government is running in Arrah, yet the light of development has not reached the public. He said that no one knows where the government's budget of crores for development is being spent. We have received applications worth crores from the general public for various types of development works including roads, lanes, drains, etc. from the entire district. Which is not possible to do with the funds. We presented about two hundred schemes received from the general public in two meetings of Disha, but no action has been taken on any of them yet.
On the question of deteriorating conditions and spreading filth in Ara, he said that I am probably the first MP who attended the board meeting of the corporation twice and spoke on various issues of the city and was assured that action will be taken on priority basis.
He said that I will constantly strive and struggle for the development of the district. We have recommended schemes worth about 8 crores for the development of the district. In which, on the demand of the general public, 60 high mast lights, open gyms in many schools and public places, libraries in schools, including the long-awaited demand of thousands of citizens, have been recommended for the construction of a bridge near Sritola near the bus stand.
On this occasion, CPI-ML city secretary Sudhir Kumar, state committee member Qayamuddin Ansari, district office secretary Dilraj Pritam, district committee member Amit Kumar Bunty, district committee member Chandan Kumar, Ajay Kumar Gandhi, theatre artist Ashok Manav, JP Memorial Committee general secretary Sushil Tiwari, Saheb Lal Yadav, Laddu Bhopali, Chetan, Sunny Kumar Singh, RJD leader Arun Yadav, Bhuneshwar Yadav and many other theatre artists, social workers and leaders were present.
