MOTHER COMMITTED SUICIDE WITH HER THREE CHILDREN

BUXAR--------------------------A heartbreaking incident occurred on Tuesday evening in a village in the Naya Bhojpur police station area of ​​the district. It is reported that a married woman consumed poison along with her three children after her demand for a mobile phone was not met. The mother and two children died in the incident, while the third child is hospitalized in critical condition.

According to reports, Savita Devi, 30, wife of Sunil Kumar, a resident of Naya Bhojpur village, consumed pesticide stored in the house at around 1 pm on Tuesday afternoon and also fed it to her children.

Family members immediately rushed them to Dumraon Sub-Divisional Hospital, from where they were referred to Sadar Hospital, Buxar, in critical condition.

Savita Devi, her five-year-old daughter Jyoti, and three-year-old son Akash succumbed to their injuries during treatment. Their 12-month-old son, Vikas, is in critical condition and has been referred to PMCH, Patna by doctors.

Husband Sunil Kumar said that Savita had been demanding a mobile phone for a few days. When he didn't give her one on Tuesday, she took this extreme step. He said that Savita was his third wife—two of his previous wives had died. Jyoti, his daughter from his first wife, also died in the accident.

Sadar Hospital physician Dr. Saraswati Chandra Mishra said that everyone had consumed pesticide. The 12-month-old child remains in critical condition.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Town Police Station Officer Manoj Kumar Singh arrived at Sadar Hospital with his team and investigated the matter. Police have sent the bodies for post-mortem examination, and further investigation is underway.
