PATNA--------------------------The mood of the weather seems to be changing in Bihar. After the humid heat, now there will be relief rain. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain for the next 7 days.

The mood of the weather has changed once again in Bihar. Till now the humid heat was troubling people in many districts including Patna, while the heavy rain that started late on Tuesday evening gave relief. At the same time, due to heavy rain for half an hour, partial waterlogging also occurred in the lower areas. According to the Meteorological Center, about 10 mm of rain was recorded in Patna on Tuesday.

The Meteorological Department says that the movement of clouds will continue on Wednesday also amid partial rain. At the same time, a warning of heavy rain with thunder has been issued in Purnia, Araria and Kishanganj. There is a possibility of thunder, lightning and winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour in many districts including Patna. Heavy rain is expected in different parts of Banka, Katihar, Purnia, Rohtas and Bhabua on Thursday.

According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon has become active again in Bihar. Heavy to very heavy rain is likely in the state for the next seven days. Its maximum effect will be seen in the districts of South Bihar. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for 20 districts. The Disaster Management Department is constantly monitoring the situation and has appealed to the people to be alert. The Meteorological Department says that rain can become a disaster instead of relief, so be careful and go out of the house only when it is very necessary.

Heavy rain in Bhabua, Rohtas, Banka, Purnia and Katihar on August 21, moderate to strong rain in other districts. Very heavy rain in Rohtas, Nalanda, Sheikhpura and Munger on August 22. Heavy rain in Begusarai, Banka, Jamui, Nawada, Lakhisarai, Gaya, Jehanabad, Patna and Aurangabad. Very heavy rain in Patna, Bhojpur and Buxar on 23 August. Heavy rain in Vaishali, Samastipur, Nawada, Jehanabad, Arwal, Gaya, Aurangabad, Rohtas and Bhabua. Heavy rain in Bhojpur, Buxar, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Arwal and Jehanabad on 24 August. On the other hand, heavy rain in Nawada, Jamui, Banka and Bhagalpur on 25 August, torrential rain in other parts of South Bihar and light rain in North Bihar.
