ARA------------------------The "Mustache Case" has once again become a topic of discussion in Shahpur. Many questions are being raised about this issue: Will it benefit the MLA? Instead of modern development, memories of the past are being revived in the Shahpur Assembly constituency. Is this all an attempt to score an electoral hat-trick and mislead the public? RJD MLA Rahul Tiwari's statement to media personnel has intensified political activity in the Shahpur Assembly constituency.
RJD MLA Rahul Tiwari said that the people of Lalu Dera used to live in fear. At that time, people faced considerable difficulty in commuting. People would avoid Shahpur because the former MLA's village, known as Ojhawalia, was located on the same route. Therefore, the route to Lalu Dera was via Ojhawalia. At that time, the atmosphere there was so intimidating that people avoided using that route. But now, the MLA says there has been peace here for the past 10 years.
The MLA also clarified that he didn't harm anyone. He said that no Mukhiya was called to his doorstep and killed. He didn't do all this. On the contrary, he also pointed out that many Brahmins have been murdered here, and people still haven't forgotten the murders of many Gautam Brahmins. Furthermore, there have been numerous murders within the Rajput community, especially in Ishwarpura. Murders have also occurred within the Bhumihar community.
The MLA questioned, "Who have they spared?" Just imagine how they've destroyed the Bihar State within the Bhumihar community. Pappu Tiwari was murdered. There's Jangbali Mishra, who was half-murdered during the Mukhiya election. Shivji Yadav was murdered to ensure his victory. Thus, the Bihar State has been murdered. Consider Shrikant Mukhiya of Bariswan village, who was almost dead but somehow survived. The MLA also asked, "Which community have they spared? Neither the Bhumihars, nor the Brahmins, nor the Rajputs, nor the backward classes. People have not forgotten these incidents even today."
Meanwhile, Bijay Kumar Singh, former chairman of the Shahpur Nagar Panchayat, said that the MLA's statement on the "moustache incident" and the numerous murders he raised are merely meant to inflame the atmosphere in the area. Manager Yadav of Lalu Dera was one of the late Visheshwar Ojha's close associates. Instead of development, the former murders are being made a political issue. The public understands everything, but nothing will come of it. People want to see what the MLA has done in 10 years. Has he been able to fulfill his promises?
Is the ongoing political activity and resurfacing of old issues in the Shahpur assembly constituency merely vote bank politics? Can these things play a significant role in the election environment? This question remains unanswered. It will be interesting to see what kind of decisions the people of Shahpur make in the upcoming elections. This will all become clear with time, but for now, political activity in the Shahpur assembly constituency is heating up.
