Shahpur MLA Rahul Tiwari has taken an important step towards resettling Jawainiya village of Shahpur region, which has been submerged due to Ganga erosion in Bhojpur district. He has announced that he will donate three bighas of land for this rehabilitation work. MLA Rahul Tiwari on Sunday met the flood victims and the people of Jawainiya village through boat due to the continuous rise in the water level of the Ganga. During this, he listened to the problems of the people affected by the erosion and assured them on their demands that he is seriously trying to resettle Jawainiya village.

ARA------------------------Shahpur MLA Rahul Tiwari has taken an important step towards resettling Jawainiya village of Shahpur region, which has been submerged due to Ganga erosion in Bhojpur district. He has announced that he will donate three bighas of land for this rehabilitation work. MLA Rahul Tiwari on Sunday met the flood victims and the people of Jawainiya village through boat due to the continuous rise in the water level of the Ganga. During this, he listened to the problems of the people affected by the erosion and assured them on their demands that he is seriously trying to resettle Jawainiya village.
The MLA said that three bighas of land will be donated to Jawainiya village across the south dam from the old Jawainiya for the resettlement. This land will be for those who have lost their homes and properties due to Ganga erosion. The responsibility of this work has been entrusted to Bahoranpur Panchayat's PACS President Ramji Rai, who will conduct this rehabilitation process smoothly. The MLA emphasized that the cooperation of every party and every social worker is expected in this reconstruction work, so that the lives of the affected people can return to normal as soon as possible.
MLA Rahul Tiwari has also appealed to the district administration to take necessary steps quickly regarding the increasing flood threat. He demanded the administration to arrange boats, plastic, animal feed, dry ration, and other essential materials, so that the flood victims can be helped. It is necessary to ensure that the affected people get immediate relief and their basic needs are taken care of.
Many others were also present with the MLA on this occasion, including Mukhiya representative Subhash Bin, Bahoranpur PACS President Shri Ram Ji Rai, Brajesh Yadav, Devmuni Yadav, Jawahar Rai, BDC Arun Rai, Degree Yadav, Triloki Yadav, Monu Yadav, Manoj Yadav, Radho Ji Rai, Sanjay Yadav and other local leaders. All of them together expressed their commitment to make this rehabilitation work successful.
