The foundation stone of eco-tourism scheme was laid today at a cost of ₹ 14.91 crore for the all-round development of the world-famous Baba Gupteshwar Nath (Gupta Dham) complex under Chenari police station area of the district. In the same sequence, house boat cruise facility was also launched for tourists in Durgawati reservoir, which will give a new identity to the tourism here at the national level.

SASARAM----------------------------The foundation stone of eco-tourism scheme was laid today at a cost of ₹ 14.91 crore for the all-round development of the world-famous Baba Gupteshwar Nath (Gupta Dham) complex under Chenari police station area of the district. In the same sequence, house boat cruise facility was also launched for tourists in Durgawati reservoir, which will give a new identity to the tourism here at the national level.
The foundation stone and inauguration of these schemes was done by Dr. Sunil Kumar, Forest, Environment and Climate Change Minister of Bihar Government. On this occasion, a large number of local public representatives and villagers including Chenari assembly constituency MLA Murari Prasad Gautam were present.
Local MLA Murari Prasad Gautam said that this scheme is the result of his initiative and the NDA government's resolve to develop tourist places. He informed that works like beautification, air ventilation, LED lighting, modern dharamshala, construction of shops, road barricading, road repair and passenger shed construction will start soon in the Gupta Dham complex.
He further said that from today tourists will also be able to enjoy house boat cruise in Durgavati reservoir, which will make the tourists from India and abroad coming here experience the facilities like Kashmir and Kerala.
