ARA--------------------------A middle-aged man returning from a wedding celebration tragically died in a road accident. Upon receiving the news of his death, the family was devastated. A police team arrived at the scene and, with the help of local residents, was taking him to Sadar Hospital for treatment.

The accident occurred late Monday evening on the Bihiya-Bihta State Highway in Bhojpur district, near the Mopati Mail turn in the Sikrahata police station area. The bike rider struck an elderly man crossing the road, resulting in his death. The deceased was identified as Hridayananda Singh, 49, son of the late Singhasan Singh, a resident of Nawada village in the Sahar police station area. He was a farmer by profession.

The deceased's eldest son, Santosh, said that on Sunday, he and his uncle had gone to Shivpur Halt to celebrate his granddaughter's wedding. Late on Monday evening, he got off an auto-rickshaw and was crossing the road near Mopati Mela crossing when a biker coming from the opposite direction hit him, leaving him seriously injured. His family then brought him from Piro PSC to Ara Sadar Hospital for treatment.

Station Road, Imrav where the doctor examined him and declared him dead. A post-mortem examination was then conducted by a police officer working at the Sadar Hospital. It is said that the deceased was the second of five brothers and one sister. His family includes his wife, Asha Devi, three sons, Santosh, Mantosh, and Karan, and a daughter, Durgavati Devi. The incident has caused chaos in the deceased's home. His wife, Durgavati Devi, and all the family members are inconsolable after the incident.
