MIDDLE AGED MAN SHOT AT FOR MONEY

ARA--------------------------In Ramnagar Kunjan Tola of Chandi police station area of Bhojpur district, an armed miscreant shot a middle aged man over money dispute on Saturday afternoon. He was shot in the left hand. He was brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment. The incident has created a sensation in the village and the surrounding area.

On receiving the information, Chandi police station in-charge reached the spot and met the family members of the injured and inquired about the incident. According to the information, the injured middle aged man is Santosh Kumar Singh, 48 years old son of late Bhajan Singh, resident of Ramnagar Kunjan Tola of Chandi police station area. He used to work in a private company located in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Santosh Kumar Singh told that ten years ago, he had given two lakh rupees as loan to Angad alias Jadu of the same village in friendship. After five years, when he asked for his money from him, he refused to give the money. After which a Panchayat was also held between them, in which nine kattha of land was given to Santosh Kumar Singh by the Panchayat and it was said that when Angad alias Jadu gives money, he will take back his land, but only after one year of Panchayat, he started ploughing the field.

On Saturday afternoon, when he was going to plough the field, Santosh Kumar Singh reached there and started stopping him. On this, he shot him. On the other hand, the injured Santosh Kumar Singh has accused Angad alias Jadu, son of Chanddev of the same village, of shooting him.

On the other hand, in the emergency of Sadar Hospital, the bullet was removed by the on-duty doctor, ortho surgeon Dr. Anand Kumar through an operation and the condition of the patient is stable.

Here, Chandi police station in-charge said that injured Santosh Kumar Singh had given a loan of fifteen thousand rupees to Angad a year ago. On Saturday afternoon, when Santosh Kumar Singh asked for his fifteen thousand rupees due from Angad, a quarrel broke out between them. After which Angad shot him. Police are continuously conducting raids to arrest the accused.
