ARA--------------------------Piro Municipal Council Chairperson Kiran Upadhyay submitted a memorandum to the Governor regarding various public issues in Piro City. Mrs. Upadhyay, who arrived at the Raj Bhavan with her family to meet the Governor on Friday, noted the lack of a girls' Plus Two high school for girls' higher education in the Piro Municipal Council area and demanded appropriate action to address this issue. She also noted that the Community Health Center in Piro, despite being designated a sub-divisional hospital, lacks the necessary resources, calling for the establishment of a referral hospital. She also demanded the construction of a high-quality stadium for the convenience of sports talent, the beautification of the historic Bahri Mahadev Dham and its designation as a tourist destination, and the beautification of the 22-bigha pond in Piro village, along with other facilities for recreational activities, including boating. The Municipal Council Chairperson was accompanied by JDU State General Secretary Manoj Upadhyay. The Upadhyay couple presented the Governor with a bouquet and a shawl. The Governor has assured to take necessary steps to fulfill the demands mentioned in the memorandum submitted by the Municipal Council Chairman.
