ARA--------------------------Today was the second day of the four-day district level "Mashal" talent search sports competition organized under the joint aegis of Bihar State Sports Authority, Sports Department, Patna Bhojpur District Education Department and District Administration, Bhojpur. The district level "Mashal" sports competition organized at the local Sports Bhawan Ara and Maharaja College, was an athletics competition held today at the Maharaj College playground, in which in the under 14 girls category, Julie Kumari Block Koilwar got first place in 60m race, Nandini Kumari Plus Two High School Jitaura, Block Piro, Dutia place, Jyoti Kumari Upgraded Middle School Shukulpur Block Ara, third place, Nandini Kumari +2 High School Varnav Block Jagdishpur got first place in 600m race, Manisha Kumari Plus Two High School Bihiya Dutia place, Chhoti Kumari Girls High School Mahuli Block Barhara third place, Pragya Kumari High School Gorakh Block Agiaon got first place in long jump, Anjali Kumari Upgraded Middle School Block Jagdishpur second place, Priya Kumari High School Upgraded Middle School Barsar Third place in 3 km cycling: Nandini Kumari of Jagdishpur block got first place, Beauty Kumari of Bihiya block got second place, Mahima Kumari of Sandesh block got third place.

In the cricket ball throw competition, Maneka Kumari Block Koilwar got first place, Rozi Khatoon Block Udwantnagar got second place, Gudiya Kumari Block Jagdishpur got third place. In the under 16 girls category, Beauty Kumari Block Koilwar got first place in 100 meter race, Sameeksha Kumari Block Sahar got second place, Khushi Kumari Block Shahpur got third place, Supriya Kumari got first place in 800 meter race, Varsha Kumari got second place, Pammi Kumari got third place. In long jump, Swati Kumari got first place, Subhadra Kumari got second place, Muskan Kumari got third place. In cycling 3 km, Sapna Kumari got first place, Anjali Kumari got second place, Maya Kumari got third place. In cricket throw ball competition, Nisha Kumari got first place, Renu Kumari Jagdishpur got second place, Soni Kumari Block Koilwar got third place. In the under 14 girls category, the first semi-final match was played between Sandesh vs Bihiya in which Sandesh defeated Bihiya 13/11 and entered the final. The second semi-final was played between Jagdishpur vs Koilwar in which Koilwar defeated Jagdishpur 30/17 and entered the final. The final match was played between Sandesh vs Koilwar in which Koilwar defeated Sandesh 34/09 and captured the Mashal Cup. In the under 16 girls category, the first semi-final match was played between Udwantnagar vs Shahpur in which Shahpur defeated by a margin of 35/05 and made it to the final. The second semi-final match was played between Jagdishpur vs Koilwar.
